Helicopter view on the digital age
I'm a working life researcher focussing on meaningful work that isn't adequately recognised. I advocate a changed perception of work to make un- and underpaid work visible and compensated through a universal basic income, UBI.
My book Widening horizons … (2018), is a research agenda for the digital age, advocating a need to rid ourselves of laws and practise that have passed their best before dates.
When I finished the book, I was euphoric about the potentials of our digital age. But searching further, I was overwhelmed by the many complexities we face in the transition from an industrial society to a digital one. To manage these complexities, I decided to proceed step by step by starting this blog and podcasts..
Welcome to join me in my navigations in the digital age from a helicopter view!
